I pressed the ignore button and shoved the phone back in my pocket. What I needed to tell Joe was more important than Matt at the time. "Joe, I-I think I...." I couldn't get those words to come out of my mouth. I was so scared that if I tell him this he'll get the wrong idea. I sucked it up came out with it." Joe, I like you." I immeadiatly looked away avoiding his reaction. Not even 10 seconds later Joe's lips pressed against mine. The kissed didn't last long, but it was still a kiss. "I like you too." he smiled."More than you know." I heard him mumble under his breath. My phone started going off again. Of course it was Matt this time I answered. "Hey." I answered. "Hey, so what time should I pick you up tonight?" he asked me. "You know Matt, I can't go out with you." I told him straight up. I saw Joe's face light up when I said that. "Why not? Just a few minutes ago you wanted to hang out?" he sounded confused. "Well, alot changed in a few minutes so we're not hanging out. I gotta go. Bye." I hung up the phone before I could hear his reply. My phone started going off....AGAIN. What do you know... it was Matt. I ignored the call and then blocked his number cause I knew he was gonna keep calling me until I picked up. I looked straight into Joe's hazel eyes. I could feel myself melting on the inside. "So... What now?" I asked. I seriously didn't know what to do. Just a half an hour ago I hated him now I'm kissing him. I'm really messed up. "I was thinking we could do more of this..." He walked over to me and pushed my head towards him and kissed with so much passion I felt my knees go weak. To prevent myself from doing that I wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing him back with the same passion. We stayed like that for at least a few minutes until the door opened and someone walked in. Joe and I pulled apart so we could see who came in. "Kelly?" I was surprised."What are you doing here?" "Didn't you get my message? Wait, you were probably to busy kissing him." She pointed towards Joe. "No, I got your message. I just wasn't expecting you till tomorrow." my arms were still wrapped around Joe's neck, but I didn't plan on moving them. "Well, I'm here. So I'm just gonna go to the guest room and get settled in." she headed for the stairs. "No. Your not staying here." i said. She froze in her place." What do you mean I'm not staying here?" she said through her teeth. I removed my arms from Joe's shoulders."I said your.NOT. Stay-ing. here. understand?" I said slowly because she needed time for the words to reach her airhead. "Oh I'm staying here lil sis. I've done so many things for you so the least you can do is let me stay here." her voice was stern. "Name ONE thing you've done for me. Just one." "I have....I've..." She said while she was thinking or at least trying to think. "That's what I thought." I grabbed her arm and threw her out the door. I locked the door once I shut it. I could hear her yelling at me about how I was an "Awful sister." I didn't care because I have wanted to do that for so long. I turned back to Joe."Sorry, You didn't need to see that." He walked over and put his arms around my waist. He pulled me towards his body and said "No need to be sorry. I always love how you stood up for yourself." "Thanks." I looked up at him and still he kept smiling at me. I finally asked the burning question inside of me " Are we a couple?" "I hope so." He said making me sigh in relief. I heard him laugh softly. "Hey, Jess?" "hmm?" "You know you just changed me right?" he said making realize that I did. "Really?" "Yeah, I mean hours ago I was thinking about how much I wanted to...uh...have sex with you....well now it doesn't even cross my mind." When he told me what he was gonna do to me hours ago, but I really believe what he said at the end. "Well, good cause your not getting me until I'm completely sure your not just putting on an act." "I'm not putting on an act." he said sincerly. "I know, but I want to be 100% sure ok?" "Ok" I realized it was getting late so I had to tell Joe I would see him tomorrow. He kissed me one last time then left. I went up to my room to lay down. I have had a unpredictable day, but I liked it. All I have to deal with tomorrow is Hayley getting pissed at me. Shit, I forgot about Hayley. That's about the only thing I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So How about that? You guys like it.
