Stamped by Zionism, they brand the guardians of human rights with stamps* of antisemitism. The postman** in these waters is armour-plated and covered in hatred, the mailboxes look more like floating coffins. I've never seen sunsets as crimson as those offshore from the Gaza coast. There are many reasons why we go out fishing with Palestinian fishermen; some of them are concrete, some others are more symbolic, but no less essential. One fishing day with us on board, according to the fishermen, is equivalent to one week of ordinary work offshore when, without internationals, they can't dare to sail for more than few miles from the port, where usually fishing is very poor. If they try to go further they risk death - or if they're lucky, "just" injury. It's worth remembering that before the siege was imposed by Israel, there were more than 3,500 fishermen working along the 40 km of the Gazan coasts; today just 700 of them are still trying to survive in a field which was used to be able to provide jobs for at least 40.000 people, if you consider mechanics, fishmongers etc as well as thousands of local fishermen that now are surviving with difficulty. The day after one of our fishing actions, the fish is sold at the market at a knock-down price. The offer is bigger, prices go down, more mouths will eat. The owners of some of the fishing boats, before we arrived, had the serious intention of selling them, due to the very high price of the fuel and to the absence of a reliable future income. Since we arrived they've told us many times how our support, in addition to helping increase their incomes, has also acted as an injection of hope at a hopeless time. Descrição do Vídeo: Two important preconditions needed to create a first-class golf course: An intact piece of nature in an excellent location and a top golf course architect. The Alcanda Golf Club near Alcudia had both. On the one hand there is the terrain covered with olive pine and oak trees directly bordering the sea; then there is the view over the beautiful island of Alcanda with its lighthouse against the backdrop of the mountains. On the other hand, there are the legendary golf course architects, Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior, who were appointed to design and create the 18-hole golf course. Father and son have produced a course on which every golfer should have played at least once. Typical characteristics for a Trent-Jones golf course are for example the well placed bunkers - 58 in all - positioned at the greens and fairways. Also the challenging greens with their hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots. The 18-hole course was opened in 2003. The players enjoy a view over the Bay of Alcudia from almost every hole; a view is at least as spectacular as the golf course itself. The Club de Golf Alcanada is the only golf course on the island directly borders on the sea. Part of the course's logo as well as its name-giver is the lighthouse situated approximately 150m offshore on the Island Alcanda. Every golfer finds tranquility here. The path leads into a small Seitenta which seems to be completely untouched by human hands. Untamed woods lie directly behind the playing lanes. All it needs is a little patience and you can observe pheasants and many other bird species. Enjoy the seclusion, the gentle wind from the sea and the constantly recurring view over the fascinating bay. "Club de Golf de Alcanda is a gem in the northern region of the island. The proximity to the sea, the amazing design as well as the incredible location is a must for every seriously dedicated golfer. When we built a one person, dry, pedal-powered submarine, we didn't expect that it would lead to finding a design error in US Navy nuclear powered submarines. We placed the rudder on the RED sub, ahead of the propeller because that is where it is on big nukes and it looked good. But it didn't steer well so we placed the rudder in back of the propeller on the green sub. Look at the difference in the turning circles shown in the movie and see what you think. During WWII, US subs sand 55% of the Japanese merchant fleet thereby denying Japan enough oil to support their industry. Now, the US depends on offshore oil for American industry and our nuclear submarines are not as fast, nor will they dive as deep, as Russian and Chinese nuclear attack submarines. Moreover, in a SUB vs SUB duel, when both subs are at their quietest and making minimum speed, our nukes will not turn well when making less than 5 knots. La République de Chypre a envoyé deux lettres de protestation à l'ONU, se plaignant de "provocation" des bateaux turcs tentant d'empêcher l'exploration pétrolière dans le sud de l'île. Nicosie assure que quatre "incidents sérieux" se sont produits le mois dernier. "Je me trouve dans la position déplaisante d'exprimer ma consternation à propos de la poursuite de telles actions agressives", écrit le président chypriote dans une lettre datée du 25 novembre adressée au secrétaire général de l'ONU Ban Ki-moon. "La poursuite de ces incidents, je suis triste de le constater, ont inévitablement des conséquences négatives sur nos efforts pour atteindre une solution négociée sur le problème chypriote", ajoute-t-il. Chypre est divisée depuis 1974, quand l'armée turque a envahi le tiers nord de l'île après un coup d'Etat de Chypriotes-grecs soutenus par Athènes qui voulaient rattacher Chypre à la Grèce. M. Christofias et le dirigeant chypriote-turc Mehmet Ali Talat ont lancé des négociations en septembre pour tenter de réunifier l'île. Une nouvelle rencontre doit avoir lieu le 16 décembre. Cette tension liée aux droits à l'exploration pétrolière complique la situation entre le gouvernement chypriote-grec, reconnu par la communauté internationale, et la Turquie, seul pays à reconnaître la République turque de Chypre-nord (RTCN). Le 13 novembre, la marine turque avait obligé un bateau norvégien d'exploration pétrolière affrété par le gouvernement chypriote, à quitter les eaux de l'île. Nicosie a assuré que l'incident avait eu lieu à l'intérieur de sa zone économique exclusive (ZEE). Ankara a pour sa part dénoncé "une violation de ses droits territoriaux en Méditerranée orientale". Des incidents similaires se sont produits les 19, 21 et 24 novembre, selon le gouvernement chypriote. "Je fais tout ce qui est en mon pouvoir pour protéger le processus de négociations et pour parvenir à une issue positive", assure dans sa lettre M. Christofias.
