It was about 7:15 and they'd spent the entire day hanging out together, and both of them really enjoyed it. Joe: I don't know if I'm ready to go home just yet. Are you? Shannon: I dunno, wanna see a movie? Joe: Yeah! Wait... maybe not. *He realized that the movie theatre was probably the WORST place he could go to.* Shannon: Don't worry, it's Sunday night, it's not gonna be too packed. *Here she was again, helping him out...* Otherwise I wouldn't even wanna go! Joe: Good, because I hate going when there are a lot of people around. Let's go! Shannon: Sweet! *They went to the movie theatre and just as Shannon had said, it wasn't too terribly busy, at least not with teenagers. So they watched a funny movie together and threw popcorn at eachother when they weren't laughing. After the movie was over it was time to take Joe home.* Jeeheez! I wish you didn't live so far away! I hate driving this far. Joe: Well, it's not my fault. If I would've known that I was gonna have a friend that lived in Independence, then I would've gone there instead. Shannon: Well, think ahead next time you decide to... stop being rich... and junk... yeah. Joe: Yeah. *They arrived at Joe's apartment and Shannon parked in an empty parking spot.* Shannon: Ok, get out! I'm tired of looking at your smelly face! *She smiled at him.* Joe: Well, I dunno... for some reason, I get the feeling you LIKE my smelly face! Shannon: *She looked at Joe a bit confused.* N-No I don't. It's Saeed here looking to give you a 60 second catchup on things in the church. Let me first just offer a quick disclaimer - nowhere under any circumstance, act of God, infusion of spiritual power, or any other unforeseen enhancement of my abilities, can I guarantee that I will do this video thing on a regularly expected basis. I have several utilities I'm evaluating and figured I'd put that evaluation to "real use". Anyway, on to what I came to talk about. This week at church we'll be meeting in the library instead of the sanctuary. At the conclusion of service we'll be having a CAYA Catchup monthly meeting. I know it's extra time after church but I pray that you could invest some time to contribute to the life of our church. Remember, too, that this and all other events can always be found by visiting the website "cayafellowship.com" and clicking on the calendar link. If you haven't already done so, mark your calendar for Saturday December 20th, too. We'll be having our Christmas Dinner and Performance. Many kudos, thanks, and appreciations to Sybil, Jerri, and Anne for organzing and planning everything. This weekend we are having the CAYA Men's B-Ball Classic. Come join us this Saturday at 10am as we meetup at Mike's house and head over to some basketball court at an undisclose park somewhere near Pearsontown Elementary School on Barbee Road. Descrição do Vídeo: Recap: Taylor returned to school and found a boy staring at her, the boy which she rememered from six months ago. _______________________________________ As I turned my head back around to my friends, The guy, Kevin Jonas who had joined the group was staring at me but it was like he was looking through me, like I wasn't there. Taylor: Yes? I abruptly said, knocking him out of his eyes. He was still staring at me, but know actually looking at me. He narrowed his eyes as a smirk crept up onto his face, like he was hiding something from me. Kevin: Nothing. He said in his rough but husky voice. I sighed thinking whether he had seen the guy whom I was looking at a moment ago. I was confused about how he linked in with the attack 6 months ago.. I didn't remember anything but I could swear I saw him that night. There was something totally wrong about everything.. the guy.. the atmosphere of the school, the Kevin guy staring at me and his brother earlier in the corridor and something else that was hugely wrong was me.. I was just an ordinary teenager which I had never been before, something bad had happened to me in that attack. Lunch passed and I went to my forth lesson of the day, PE. Gaah did I hate this lesson. Once dressed into my kit, I walked into the gym getting some glares and stares from girls I didn't even know or had no idea why, Did I really look that bad? I tried to get out of PE saying my leg was still recovering from the attack but it appears that the hospital and my mother had got in contact with the school to say id be fine. I sighed, it was basketball today, I would usually be okay at this game well actually pretty amazing at the game, but not today or probably never again will I be. I kept tripping over the ball or getting the ball hit in my head. I dribbled the ball lightly but then let out a groun when the boys joined our lessons, it appeared it had started to rain outside. We were put into mixed groups and uh no... Him.. The guy, he was in my group. He was looking at me but this time with anger, not like earlier. I looked away trying not to look back but that didn't work, It was like I was drawn to look at him. The game was on and this guy played kinda furiously but he was one hell of a basketball player, the girls soon got the ball and that was it... Lilly: TAYLOR CATCH! A random girl called Lilly called out to me, I turned my head, a ball just inches away from my head. The guy that kept staring at me suddenly jumped infront and caught the ball.. landing on top off me. CRUNCH.. my recovering leg and suddenly crunched or even broke as he fell onto me. I screamed out in pain as he staggered off of me but looked me in the eye intenseively. ???: Nice going Joe. some random guy said, so his name was Joe. Joe: I.. Im sorry, are you okay? He asked me as tears whelmed up in my eyes, I was biting down hard on my lip trying not to scream again as the broken leg rested in my hand. I looked down a bone sticking right out of my leg, there were about 6 other people surrounding us in a semi-circle but luckily none of them could see over this guy, Joe who was covering my leg from all of them.. he was so tall. Suddenly the pain started to fade as the broken skin began to re-attached itself, the bone popping back into place and all that was left was a bit of dried up blood on my skin. The tears dissapeared from my eyes as I took a deep breath. Random Person: Is she okay? Taylor: Errr... just a twisted ankle, nothing to worry over. I said a little nervously.. what was happening? I know I could heal myself but that gift had dissapeared.. I didn't have it anymore but appears I do? The boy, Joe stared at me, He wasn't scared or freaked out just suprised but rage filled his eyes as he gritted his teeth together and then muttered a word.... Joe: Witch... I froze in my position I was, letting out a small gasp as he staggered away from me, out of the hall. How did he know, yeah he saw me heal but how did he guess that.. if it was a guess. I sat there for 5 minutes incomplete confusion. When that guy was around me, I felt invisible like I had done all my life, but know he had gone, I felt like an ordering teenager again. I frowned as I grabbed a piece of plastic that was lose on the gym floor and scraped it across my hand, blood gushed out and I waited for it to heal but nothing happened, I know only healed when that Joe was around. Who was he? or most importantly why was he different to everyone? How did he know about me? Like a lot of big event books it’s hard to really make any judgments after the first issue. One thing that did surprise me though, was that a lot of people died. Nightcrawler, beast, Wasp, maybe Johnny, Sue and Doctor Storm, and a lot of people all around the world. That is a big chance to take in a universe. I mean they killed off almost half of their characters. If the storms are really dead how can the fantastic four title really go on? It’s not the fantastic duo or “Stretcho and Thing” save the world. There will always be new X-Men to fill out the roster but those were a couple of very significant characters to kill off so non chelauntly. This is looking to be a big deal and the question of will how they are going to move forward with the ultimate universe is reason enough alone to stick with it. The art is great in this book and the image of Magneto witting on his thrown in genohsa that we’ve seen plastered all over the books the last few weeks is incredibly powerful and gallery worthy. I’m curious though why he has a big old school thor hammer next to him. The tag line at the end of this issue is “Next: It gets worse. Spiderman is back to where he should be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still not completely OK with the Brand New day and the effects that it had on Spidey’s powers and life, but the book is at least fun and exciting and a Spidey book again. Hammer Head is just scary good and I love what they’ve done with the character. We’ve got another new writer in Joe Kelly, and while his books lack some of the humor that the previous books have had it is still true to the character and an enjoyable read. Looking back on this thrice monthly spidey I’ve had a few thoughts. First off, we’re not really getting more Spidey than we used to, it just happens to be telling the same story. I mean there have always been multiple Spiderman titles and we would generally end up getting them three times a month. Before, there was Amazing, Friendly Neighborhood, and Marvel Nights, and even Spectacular. This gave us three solid Spiderman different, but solid stories to follow or not depending on what you choose. Now, there are even more story lines up in the air, completely disjointed and by changing writers the book doesn’t have any consistency. While it’s on an upswing I’ve got to wonder how long it’ll last. In this case, 6 does not equal one half dozen, but hey it’s good now so enjoy it while you can. Distributed by Tubemogul.
