Descrição do Vídeo: Note: Yes that is me on the right in the thumbnail picture! This is UFC 14 "The Showdown" between Maurice Smith versus Mark "The Hammer" Coleman from the Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, Alabama. At the time Mark Coleman was a heavy favorite to win this bout. I am proud and honored to state that I was one of only a few who supported Maurice. It was equally a thrill to accompany Maurice to the Octagon that evening as a cornerman. Our group (Frank Shamrock, Walt Lysak, Charlie Lysak, and Manager Kirk Jensen) truly believed big Mo could win. We honestly did. Most of the fans in the arena were pro-Coleman and thought Maurice no shot to win. We proved him wrong as slowly the fans warmed up to Mo as he got back to his feet and took advantage of Mark's exhaustion for victory. Not even his enormous entourage or the vociferous fans could prevent the Hammer from losing his belt. It was an honor to witness up close and first hand one of the greatest upsets in UFC history. Maurice was the first striker to win the Heavyweight belt and was also the first Black/African American UFC heavyweight champion as well. Regardless of his defeat, Mark Coleman is a pioneer in MMA and rightfully deserved his spot in the UFC Hall of Fame. The reason I did not upload the entire match is because most of it was spent on the ground with sporadic and sometimes stalled action while Mo was utilizing the guard/half guard so I made sure I included the best parts along with the ring entrances and celebration at the end. Descrição do Vídeo: Ragnell Rising is an Ike compilation video highlighting Captain Lutzburg's friendlies and tournament matches from Brawl's release until November of 2008. A lot of editing and music synchronization went into this movie, all of it done by hand using Pinnacle Studio 10 software. The theme of this particular piece was to set a faster, more intense experience than my previous efforts in "Divinatory Influence", a Ness combo video from over the Summer. The opening and closing of the movie are a direct parody of the cartoon "The Venture Brothers", using the shows opening and credit sequences as direct inspiration for the editing used. I am very satisfied with the end result, including the footage, the editing, and the musical selection. Clips used showed opponents at equal or par experience and skill, and range from crew matches, friendlies, random Wi-Fi, and tournament matches. Quality of the video is very nice, watching in High Quality isn't a must but it will definitely look prettier. As always, The Three Cs- comments, critiques, and criticisms, are always welcome.
