Descrição do Vídeo: sooner or later, the anime episodes uploaded with the official titles will be deleted entirely by utube. thats why ive always changed titles. anyway, this follows the life of Tadayasu Sawaki, a first-year college student at an agricultural university, who has the unique ability to see and communicate with micro-organisms and bacteria. Additionally, these organisms look much different to him, and much larger, than what can be see under a microscope by normal people. This ability has brought him a bit of fame as when he entered the university, Tadayasu discovered that one of the professors there, Keizou Itsuki, already knew about his gift via Tadayasu's grandfather. Professor Itsuki's coworker Haruka Hasegawa has trouble believing what Tadayasu claims at first, but later comes to accept it. Tadayasu enters the university with his good friend Kei Yuuki whose family runs a sake brewery. The Department of Agriculture building on the school's campus is a near identical replica of the real life University of Coimbra in Portugal. The flag at the top of the clock tower also has the same color scheme as the Portuguese flag. Dr. Peter Liu is the Heart & Stroke/Polo Chair Professor of Medicine and Physiology at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, University Health Network. He was appointed Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health in 2006. Dr. Liu graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. During his medical training he undertook a research clerkship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, studying infarct remodeling and heart failure. During his cardiology training, he also pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in cardiovascular imaging and immunology at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, and clinical epidemiology at McMaster University. In 1985 he joined the Division of Cardiology at the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto. Since 1999, he has been the Heart & Stroke/Polo Chair Professor at the University Health Network and serves as Director of the Heart & Stroke/Richard Lewar Centre of Excellence in Cardiovascular Research at the University of Toronto. The latter coordinates cardiovascular research and promotes mentorship and training of next generation of cardiovascular research leaders. Dr. Liu focuses his research on the pathophysiology and clinical outcomes of heart failure from bench to bedside. His team has elucidated the role of inflammation in changing heart structure and function, and potential novel treatment targets in heart failure. His laboratory has also identified how viruses and bacteria can accelerate heart failure and coronary artery disease, and is developing novel vaccines to prevent these complications. With support from Genome Canada, CIHR group and team programs, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation, he is also pursuing novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for early cardiovascular disease identification. He has published over 240 peer reviewed articles in high impact journals, contributed to 19 book chapters and collective works. In addition, he co-chaired a series of Canadian Cardiovascular Society Consensus Guideline Recommendations for heart failure care. He is the recipient of numerous awards in recognition of his scientific contributions and accomplishments including the Rick Gallop Research Award Recognizing Research Excellence from the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario (2003), the Research Achievement Award from the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (2003), Visiting Research Professor Award from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (2005), and the Extramural Award of Merit from the American College of Cardiology (2005), amongst others. He has served as the scientific program chair for both the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and the Heart Failure Society of America scientific sessions and as chair for several CIHR and NIH scientific review panels. Most recently, he was asked by HUPO (Human Proteome Organization) to co-chair the 6th International Initiative on Global Cardiovascular Proteomics. Descrição do Vídeo: Video about the nylon-bug and bacterial resistance to antibiotics: As I said in my previous video, bacteria had the potential ability to digest nylon and resist drugs since long before nylon and Drugs where even invented, this idea doesnt imply that bacteria somehow know the future and anticipate to survive to human technology, Bacteria can digest nylon, because they have the ability to reconstruct their DNA if selective pressure occurs, so it is not like bacteria can predict the future, they simply have a system that allows them to reconstruct their DNA. This ability is called Self Engineering, and was proven by James Shapiro, and it is important to note 3 important things: 1)Self engineering has been proven, I am not inventing a process, nor giving a ´´God did it´´ answer I am providing a natural explanation for the resistance to drugs, and for the ability to digest nylon. 2)This is not evolution, at least not Darwinian evolution, because self engineering is not random, and does not produce new genes. 3)It is a proven fact that at least in some cases, bacteria become resistant to drugs do to self engineering, my personal hypothesis is that the ability to digest nylon is also do to self engineering. In my video I said that experiments on the nylon eating bacteria have been repeated and the same we always obtain the same results (genes) if this where true, then evolution would have to face a problem because mutations are suppose to be random, and it is impossible to have the same RANDOM mutation over and over again, however I dont have enough information to support this claim. I made the claim originally because that is a common claim used in open forums and in websites, and since usually evolutionists are the ones who use that claim, I assumed that it is true. But I looked for the actual papers that deal with the experiment been repeated, but I did not find them. I am assuming that the experiment has been repeated, but I dont find the results, k8jury mentioned an example where the experiment was repeated, but this experiments where repeated with a different species of bacteria. However my conclusion is simple, self engineering is responsible for the ability to digest Nylon. Sources The resistance of antibiotics predates antibiotics: ´´What is interesting is that bacterial cultures from bodies frozen 140 years ago were found to be resistant to antibiotics that were developed 100 years later´´ http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/439 Self-engineering: Publications http://shapiro.bsd.uchicago.edu/ Audio http://online.kitp.ucsb.edu/online/infobio01/shapiro1/ Data: January 7, 2009 Vídeos Relacionados: : evolution creation debate biology creationist nylon bacteria antibiotics genes dna information challenge transposons | ![]() |
