Descrição do Vídeo: This video concerns horse slaughter in general. It starts with a fictional story of how a horse ended up in the slaughterhouse. Although it is completely fictional, it is not far off from how most horses end up there. It then will cut to a number of facts and statistics, mainly concerning horse slaughter in America. There are clips scattered through them of horses I take lessons on. These are safe horses but are not rescues. They are meant to somewhat follow the slides & keep in mind that any one of them could easily be a victim. Be aware that this is not supposed to be an attack on any culture that considers horsemeat a delicacy. I apologize completely if you feel that way. It is the way of life, horses being eaten is as natural as cows. I just don't agree with how inhumane it is, how horses are stolen to be sold for meat, how horses are sent to a slaughter house instead of given a good home, etc. Please consider what is says, this is supposed to, in a way, open peoples eyes not spark arguments. Comments, for the time being, are open. Eventually they will be disabled, if enough people make horrid comments then it will be a lot sooner than later. Kristof, Rashid Khalidi and Gideon Lichfield all create a false picture of the situation Israel faces with regard to Hamas. The notion, espoused in these articles, that Israeli military action is the source of the problems and counterproductive because it brings Hamas more support misses the crux of the problem. Hamas took over in Gaza not in response to Israeli military actions but after Israel unilaterally left Gaza in 2005, a moment that offered hope for a new life for Palestinians. Rather than being taken as a building block to peace, the Palestinians backed a group committed to Israels destruction. In other words, Israeli concessions led to greater Palestinian extremism. Therefore, to blame Israels military for the problems of the Palestinians in Gaza is absurd and provides no solace for Israelis living under years of rocket attacks out of Gaza. Any solution to the problems created by Hamas rejectionist positions that relies solely on Israeli action without true partners in the region and beyond places an onus on Israel that is simply not sustainable.
