I liked the gun except that the crosshatch wood grip is'nt my style. Something like rubber and more ergonomic is my style! Nontheless, I did really well shooting it and the owner commented about it. Caruso Sings Tarantella Sincera, a neopolitan song composed by Vincenzo de Crescenzo, for Victor in 1911 (Actually, this was recorded on December 27th, which happens to be my birthday.) This is one of my most favorites of all Caruso recordings. Wonderful technique of breath control, lovely high notes in the end. And the rest...the recording speaks for itself. Descrição do Vídeo: Jules Védrines fut d'abord un ouvrier, puis un metteur au point aux Usines Gnôme (Moteur), avant de devenir mécanicien du pilote-acteur anglais, Robert Loraine. Cette expérience lui donne le désir de devenir aviateur. Il passe son brevet de pilote le 7 décembre 1910 à Pau et devient un As de laviation. Le 23 mars 1911 il survole Paris et, à basse altitude, le cortège de la Mi-Carême, sur lequel il lance une pluie de fleurs. Embauché chez Morane, il gagne la course Paris-Madrid le 26 mai 1911 avec un Morane-Saulnier A. Jules Védrines était marié à une Bussiéroise, née Amélie Mélanie Noémie Lejeune, du Hameau dit "Le Mont", commune de Bussière-Dunoise, car sa mère était "montée" à Paris pour travailler comme nombre de Creusoises et Creusois. Il eu de cette union, quatre enfants, Jeanne, Henri, Suzanne, Emile, (Henri devint député dans le département de lAllier). En 1911 Jules Védrines a atterri à Bussière à bord de son Morane-Borel alors quil participait au rallye aérien Paris-Pau, ceci dû en partie, au brouillard et pour voir sa famille. Une stèle a été érigée à lendroit même ou Védrines à atterri. Celle ci représente, une aile du Morane, et en son centre le visage stylisé et évidé de Védrines, qui laisse voir au travers, la bourgade de Bussière-Dunoise, une partie du moteur, et une demi- hélice Le 13 janvier 1912, il bat le record de vitesse pure en avion : sur un « Déperdussin », il atteint la vitesse de 145,161 km/h. Deux ans plus tard, du 20 novembre au 29 décembre 1913, il réalise la première liaison aérienne France-Égypte (avec escales) à bord de son monoplan Blériot. Il part de Nancy le 20 novembre et arrive au Caire le 29 décembre. Il est également le premier pilote à se poser à l'aéroport international de Beyrouth au Liban. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, il est mobilisé dans l'aviation. Il signe ses avions d'une tête de vache ou de l'inscription « la vache », sans doute en souvenir de ses origines limousines et aussi peut-être en guise de provocation. Il se spécialise dans des missions difficiles, voire impossibles, comme aller déposer des espions français derrière les lignes allemandes puis venir les récupérer. Après la Première Guerre mondiale, il est décoré pour ses talents d'instructeurs ? il fut entre autres l'instructeur du jeune Georges Guynemer. Le 19 janvier 1919, il se pose à bord d'un « Caudron G III » sur le toit des galeries Lafayette du boulevard Hausmann, malgré l'interdiction de la préfecture de Paris. Il empoche ainsi le prix de 25 000 francs offert pour cet exploit, mais devient le premier délinquant aérien de l'histoire de l'aviation. Il meurt à Saint-Rambert-d'Albon le 21 avril 1919, avec son mécanicien Guillain, lors de l'inauguration de la ligne Paris-Rome, à bord dun bimoteur Caudron C-23 rempli de 1 600 litres dessence. Il est enterré au cimetière de Pantin après des funérailles grandioses. Intéressé par la politique, il s'était lui-même présenté aux élections cantonales de Limoux en 1910 et aux élections législatives de 1912, sans plus de succès. Descrição do Vídeo: The Galco Summer Comfort is a well-made holster that closely follows the lines and concept of the excellent Milt Sparks Summer Special. With the right gun, this Summer Comfort holster provides nearly the same utility and function of the Milt Sparks version for about $25 less in cost. Inside the waistband (IWB) carry is faster to action than a bellyband and many find it just as concealable and comfortable. I agree but it really excels with reasonably sized guns that weigh under 25 ounces. With the right shirt, a small gun like the Glock 26/27 conceals very well. Descrição do Vídeo: I like shoulder holsters. They're fast into action, comfortable, hide pretty well, and usually come as a complete system with attached magazine carrying provisions. Enter the relatively affordable Galco "Classic Lite" shoulder holster. Made of thin and lighter weight suede, the Classic Lite is a comfortable rig that can carry smaller pistols with an acceptable degree of concealability. Its a great ROL option for civilian sheepdogs. I recommend wear under a loose shirt for comfort (so as not to have to wear a jacket all the time). In this carry fashion, the Lite with a smaller pistol like Kahr PM series or KelTec PF9, the holster will be invisible to most observers. Under the shirt carry will take practice in accessing but it is still faster than the bellyband option and the horizontal orientation allows for a full combat grip for draw. The Classic Lite is a more affordable (and more concealable) option than its cousins the Galco Miami Classic II or Galco Jackass holster systems. Suede can hold moisture so avoid the rain with these leather holsters but for easy on/off everyday pistol wear that still provides some speed in the draw, they are hard to beat.
