While there I heard from the people and witnessed many humanitarian issues; many of which have been caused by policies made by the United States. My life has been forever changed by the experience and it is so important for everyone else to understand and acknowledge the devastation that is occurring around the world and even on American soil. We have to know where people are coming from to be able to engage them and work with them to fight for the rights that everyone deserves. Clean running water is something we take for granted, however in many parts of the world, water is something to be killed for. A bed to sleep on is a luxury, it is often shared with everyone in the family, or the concrete and dirt floor are makeshift beds. Food to eat is mostly plentiful for us in the US, but millions around the world die from hunger each year. Take some time to think about all the completely unnecessary and trivial things in your life you think you cannot live without; take all that away and then some, and you still have more than most of the people in the world. Descrição do Vídeo: Lo que se inició como una aventura en la que diez amigos, miembros de un cartel de la droga, entraron pensando hacerse millonarios, termina mal para todos. Porque en este negocio, al final siempre se pierde. El mundo del narcotráfico le atrae a Martín González, un joven de 15 años, ambicioso y atrevido, proveniente de una familia colombiana de clase media, quien le pide a su amigo Pepe Cadena que intervenga ante su hermano mayor, para vincularlo al peligroso oficio. Sin saber que esta decisión es el inicio de una vida agitada y tormentosa que cambiará su destino para siempre, Martín, alias 'Fresita', empieza a trabajar en la cocina de un laboratorio de cocaína, apadrinado por el capo Óscar Cadena. Aprende rápido y hace sus primeros envíos de droga a los Estados Unidos, al tiempo que su jefe se alía con los hermanos Villegas, del Cartel de Occidente, para acabar con el narco más grande de todos los tiempos: Pablo Escobar. El enemigo número uno cae, pero detrás de él viene Martín, que no está dispuesto a parar. Nace, entonces, el Cartel del Pacífico, el más peligroso que ha existido en Colombia, liderado por Óscar Cadena. Discípulo y maestro sellan, así, un pacto de amistad y de negocios. El dinero entra y la mercancía sale a diario, mientras Martín ve crecer su fortuna a pasos agigantados. Se enamora de Sofía, una aspirante al Reinado Nacional de la Belleza, pero la conquista con mentiras. El castillo se derrumba cuando la joven descubre el origen de su riqueza y lo pone a decidir entre ella y el narcotráfico. Óscar, mientras tanto, ayuda a la policía a sepultar al otrora poderoso Cartel de Occidente. Los "sapos" hacen que la guerra entre estas estructuras delictivas se caliente. Martín se niega a entrar al campo de batalla y decide instalarse en Miami con Sofía y sus hijos, sin imaginar que hasta allá llegan los tentáculos de la mafia. Él no puede escapar del mundo con el que soñó y debe continuar con sus actividades ilegales, al tiempo que es testigo de cómo sus grandes amigos en el negocio van cayendo uno a uno por balas enemigas. Socios y hermanos muertos o capturados hacen que Martín huya a México en busca de protección. Desde allá, las noticias del día le hablan de la extradición de otros tantos.
