She sat me down on my bed and stood in front of me, the other two taking a seat in some chairs that I had. --------------------------- Seriously, what's his name, and is he cute? Lauren asked. OK, I said, giving up, His name's Andrew, and he's so cute! You met him at the park? Romi asked. Yeah. I was sitting on a bench crying my eyes out and he came up asking if I was OK. Then we talked and I told him everything, the drinking, smoking, Ayden raping me. He totally understood though, because something kind of like that happened to him, but not exactly. I was so in love with Ayden, that I didn't realize what he was doing to me. He said he was really in love with his girlfriend, then found her cheating on him with his best friend, and figured out that they'd been seeing each other behind his back for a while, I gushed, And wow, he was really cute. He had straight dirty blond hair, and light blue eyes, and he was tall. He was so nice. Wow, Lauren said, he does seem nice. So, do you like him? Romi asked. I don't know. I mean, I just met him, I said. Just be careful, Chloe said. I know. I don't think I'd date him or anything, I'm not ready for anything like that again, for a while. Plus, I don't know if I'll ever see him again, that made me sad, I think we could be good friends though, if we really got to know each other. Well, maybe you'll see him at school or something, Lauren said. Lauren was in her last year of high school. It seems like just yesterday that I met her, but it's really been a little over a year ago, which was crazy. We were all growing up, which is so weird to think about. I'm 16, and a Junior! It's crazy! It's strange to think back to when I first met everyone, past everything with Ayden. I wished I'd never agreed to date him, everything would be so much better now, but I wouldn't have met Andrew, and he seems really nice. Ayden seemed nice. Andrew's different though, I can just tell. The next day was Monday, and I didn't talk to Amber, Jessica, or Ashley, instead I make peace with my old friends. I was heading to my my art class when someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around to be face-to-face with Amber. Hey Steph, what's up with you? she asked. Nothing's up with me, I said, starting to walk away. Don't you walk away from me! she yelled, coming back over to me. Amber, leave me alone, please. Why are you acting so weird? Seriously Amber, I don't want to hang out with guys anymore, ever since I started hanging with you my life as gone down hill. So please, leave me alone, I want my old life back, I said, being as nice as I could, and starting to walk away again. So I heard you slept with Ayden! she yelled, which earned everyone in the hallways eyes on me. --------------------------------------- What's Stephanie going to say to that??? God, Amber's such a pooper-face lol. um...all the pictures in the video are of my baby cousin, Alden, he turned one on December 16, which just so happens to be Stephanie's birthday, whoa!!! The guys had no clue what was up with everyone so Joe nudged Kevin to say something and try and make the situation a little awkward. Unfortunatly, what he said only made everything worse.) K: So Anna. I thought you were hanging out with Jake today. (Sam shot Kevin a look warning him not to say anything else. He began to understand what was going on. Sam tried to cover for her.) S: Change of plans. A: Actually we broke up. (They would have found out sooner or later, so why not tell them now.) J: You broke up? A: Yeah. (Anna couldn't understand why, but Joe's face seemed to light up when she said they broke up. Almost like he was glad. Everyone at the table got quiet again, but Joe seemed really jumpy. He couldn't believe Jake and Anna were broken up. He felt bad for Anna, but now maybe he would actually have a chance with her. He wanted to talk to her alone as soon as possible.) J: So Anna what are you doing after breakfast? A: Umm. I don't know. What are you guys doing? L: Actually, we were planning to go to the mall again. Just to hang out. Everyone met up for lunch and sat in couples. Joe wanted to sit with Anna but she was already sitting with Laura and Nick. Instead he sat with Tess. Tess began to notice something was up with Joe. He kept glancing over at Anna, and acting really impatient.) T: You should talk to her. J: Huh? T: Anna. I can tell you like her. Our breaks almost over. You should talk to her before its too late. J: And you'd be okay with that? T: Sure. I mean you've drooling over her all through lunch. You must really like her. J: I guess I do. I just wish I could get her alone. T: I'll figure something out. J: Thanks. You're a great friend. (Tess whisked her hair back with her hand.) T: Oh, I know. (When everyone had finished lunch they were trying to discuss where to go. Sam and Kevin and Laura and Nick were both going to walk around together, so Tess immediatly said she wanted to do some shopping on her own and suggested that Joe and Anna hang out for a while. They both instantly agreed to the idea and everyone headed off in their seperate directions. As Anna and Joe walked into a nearby department store Joe saw his chance to talk to Anna.)
