The passengers each got to pull on a "tag teamed" 250# YFT, until they were too tired. 	Viking Star Tuna and Tile Sept. 16, 2011 Sept 15-Sept 18 3 Day Tnt Ultra Limited The Viking Star returned from the weekends TnT trip and Captains Steven Jr and Carl report some highs and some lows. We trolled our way to the Tilefish grounds and caught a couple of Mahi-Mahi along the way. Once we started bottom fishing, it was GAME ON! Many different species came up from the deep, including Tilefish, Wreckfish, Barrelfish, Hake, Pollack and others! Fishing was very good and coolers filled fast with big fish from the deep! We had Wreckfish to 30lbs, Barrelfish to 30lbs, Tiles to 30lbs and Pollack to 20lbs. That night, we set up for some Swordfishing and boy did that pay off. Not soon into it, Ali hooked into and landed a nice keeper Swordfish. Not long after that, John Stella hooked into a big Sword and landed him too. The rest of the night, we saw 2 more short Swordfish and released them. The next morning, we were back to the Tile grounds, but the bite was much slower than the day before but we caught some Tiles and hake. After spending some time with that, we got back on the troll to head over to a different zone for the night. On the troll we hooked into a nice Yellowfin Tuna on our Green Stick and 13 year old Matthew Oskey fought the fish very well and we landed the 70lb beauty! That night we set up again, but crazy currents, driving wind and rain made for a long night. We caught a couple of Yellowfin Tunas, but not as many as we would have liked.
