Knoxville Fire, Knoxville Rural, Knoxville Police Department, Marion County Emergency management Coordinator Jeff Anderson and the Red Cross all responded to the scene. Roberts says the apartment where the fire started has severe smoke and water damage, while the owner of the apartment was still trying to be located. Roberts says after the fire was put out, crews began clearing debris from the scene and are continuing their investigation.
