Descrição do Vídeo: Pavlov's Dog is a 1970s progressive rock/AOR band formed in St. Louis in 1972. Pavlov's Dog originally comprised David Surkamp (vocals and guitar), Steve Scorfina (lead guitar), Mike Safron (drums), Rick Stockton (bass guitar), David Hamilton (keyboard), Doug Rayburn (mellotron and flute), and Siegfried Carver (born Richard Nadler) (various string instruments including the rare vitar, a cross between a guitar and a violin). Carver left the band after the first album. On their second album At the Sound of the Bell (1976), Tom Nickeson was added to the line-up on guitar and he took over Hamilton's keyboard position after the album had been recorded as Hamilton left the band. Safron was still a member of the band but did not appear on the second album, former Yes drummer Bill Bruford played as a guest musician. Safron left in the aftermath of this, partially due to his failure to receive a promised credit on the album sleeve and the band's third album featured Kirk Sarkisian on drums. The band's debut Pampered Menial was briefly released in 1974 on ABC Records but then quickly re-issued by Columbia Records. The result was that both versions appeared in stores at nearly the same time, which may have confused the public. Their second album At the Sound of the Bell followed on Columbia in 1975. The band recorded a third album in 1977, but due to poor sales of the first two albums, Columbia refused to release it, hastening the band's split. The third album finally appeared as a bootleg in the 1980s, a limited edition pressed from stolen master tapes. It was released under the name The St. Louis Hounds, without Pavlov's Dog's name on the sleeve. The third album finally was released legally in 2007 by German label Rockville Music, titled Has Anyone Here Seen Sigfried?, remastered and including additional 10 bonustracks of unreleased material from the 1970s. The German label TRC illegally bootlegged the album titled Third, but this does not include the bonustracks. In 1990, a reformed version of the band, with only Surkamp and Rayburn from the original line-up along with some contribution from Scorfina, recorded Lost In America for US label Telectro Records, which was re-released worldwide by Rockville Music in 2007, after TRC also having illegally bootlegged it in the late 1990s. Also in 2007 the solo album Dancing On the Edge of a Teacup by Pavlov`s Dog`s lead singer David Surkamp was released by Rockville Music. On June 26, 2004, a reunion concert with the original line-up, except for Siegfried Carver, was scheduled to take place in St. Louis, Missouri. The band tours annually in Europe since 2005. Among others they played the Arrow Rock Festival in Holland 2006 in front of 54,000 people, as well as headlining both the Burg Herzberg Festival in 2007 (12,000 people) and the Woodstock Festival in 2008 (5,000 people). David Surkamp's distinctive voice has been compared to that of Geddy Lee of Rush. When the band split up in the late 1970s, Surkamp was rumoured to be dead, although in fact he was working with former Fairport Convention member Ian Matthews on a band named Hi-Fi. While living in Seattle the group was successful on the club scene and recorded a 5-track live 12" EP in 1981 entitled Hi-Fi Demonstration Record and a studio album in 1983 entitled Moods for Mallards. The two Hi-Fi albums were released on First American Records and distribution was mostly limited to the Pacific Northwest region. The label self-destructed soon after investors ran into troubles with the Internal Revenue Service. So, in the end, Hi-Fi proved to be even more obscure than Pavlov's Dog. Descrição do Vídeo: Joe: What the fuck is going on in here?! Joe moved out of the way so I could see what was going on. I really wish he didn't. I saw Kevin and some girl in bed. Naked. I was starting to feel sick. Sadie: Oh god. I held my stomach. I felt like I was going to throw up. Kevin wrapped his sheets around him and got off the bed. He made his way towards me and put his hand on my face. Tears starting to form in his eyes. I was furious. Sadie: Don't touch me. God knows what you were doing with those hands before I came in. I ran into the bathroom and threw up. Joe: Elise.. get off of my fucking tour bus now. Elise: Okay... sorry. She got off the bed, got dressed and gave Kevin a kiss. Before she could walk off. Joe noticed something shiny on her finger. He grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Joe: Who gave that to you? He said through gritted teeth. Elise: Oh, Kevin gave it to me! You like? Joe: Yeah.. pretty. He said.. obviously starting to get angry. Joe let go of Elise's hand and turned his attention over to Kevin. Kevin was about to say something when Joe punched him in the face, making him fall to the ground. Joe: I have nothing to say to you... except, you really screwed this one up man. Kevin watched Joe walk away and fell backwards onto the floor. Kevin: What have I done? *Sadie's POV* As I lay here on the bathroom floor, thinking about what just happened. I can't even believe that I still love him. After everything that just happened. I still loved him. I kept thinking about the first time we... you know. That night was amazing.. so special. It meant everything to me. And seeing him sleep with someone else when we weren't officially broken up.. it broke my heart. I'm suddenly starting to think that maybe that night didn't mean as much to him as it did to me. All the times we said I love you. All the times we kissed. All the times he made me blush. All the times he complimented me. Was everything a lie? I moved away from the toilet and leaned my head against the wall. I started to get more and more angry as I played the moment over again in my head. I wiped my tears and bursted out of the door. I started walking out when Kevin called my name. Kevin: Sadie. Wait. Sadie: I have to go. I simply said not turning around. Not stopping. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into him. Kevin: Please.. He was now crying. When you weren't here I was a mess. I need you. I love you. Sadie: Kevin. Back up off me. Now. Kevin: No... I'm not letting go. I can't lose you again. I love you too much. Sadie: Really Kevin?! Really.. do you? Cause if you did.. you would've understood why I left. You wouldn't have wanted to take a break. And you wouldn't have been sleeping with that girl! How do you think it makes me feel?! I was now crying. Tears pouring down my face. I can't even believe you! What happened to the Kevin Jonas that I loved? Where'd he go? Kevin: He's right here. Sadie, I love you. Sadie: No.. he's not. But, when he comes back... give me a call. I ripped my arm out of his grip and ran off the tour bus. I heard Joe call my name. Multiple times. But there was no way I was stopping. I kept running for what felt like hours. I finally stopped to try and catch my breath, and all of a sudden I felt dizzy. I might have been because I haven't eaten since last night. I was too nervous to eat anything today. Everything started spinning. Oh man. Before I could get to my phone. I collapsed on the grass. Everything went black. -------------- Sorry it's short.. but part 2 up soon! Data: January 7, 2009 Vídeos Relacionados: : jonas brothers joe nick kevin breathe paramore | ![]() |

Descrição do Vídeo: More at http://www.theuptake.org. After the site and interior of the secret detention center in Denver, developed in anticipation of the DNC, was exposed, the Sheriff's Office decided they may as well give the media a tour to reassure public sentiment. Undersheriff Bill Lovingier showed TV, newspaper, radio, and new media around the facility, walking through the process a detainee would face. One change made to the facility because of the media coverage and resulting community outrage is the removal of razor wire on the interior holding pens. Lovingier explains the change and why the extra security is needed within the facility not just to prevent people from escaping, but also to prevent protest and counter-protest groups from clashing violently while being held. The ACLU has raised a concern about the process, saying Colorado law requires lawyers to meet with their clients within the detention center. Lovingier sidestepped a question about this, saying only "you're correct, that is what the ACLU has said." Descrição do Vídeo: A retrospective of the Tours of Poor Dayton. Thanks for viewing and post your comments at the bottom. Ok, here's the reasons once again! First things first, we look at the community as a whole. My community is facing a turmoil! Manufacturing is quickly leaving the area. Population is declining and a national magazine has ranked Dayton, Ohio as well as four other cities in this state as the "fastest dying cities" in the nation. Forbes magazine has written an article stating that economic recession has hit major cities in the "Rust Belt". Many people are fleeing the communities and leaving the city standing on its last leg. http://www.forbes.com/business/2008/08/04/economy-ohio-michigan-biz_cx_jz_0805dying.html The reasons why I do these "A Tour Of Poor Dayton" videos for both profiles is to give the people a retrospective of why a community like Dayton, Ohio can be affected by an economic recession, the loss of jobs, population, home foreclosure, urban sprawl and crime. This can affect not only the state of Ohio, but the United States in general. Ohio is a swing state, and no presidential candidate can carry the general election without securing the state of Ohio. These are the people who represent Dayton, Ohio. The mayor, your congressmen, your senators, and your governor. The mayor of this city is Rhine McLin, a former state senator and funeral home director. She is a Democrat and super delegate to the Denver Democratic National Convention. The congressmen who represent this area: Mike Turner is a Republican United States congressman from the 3rd District and represents Dayton, Centerville, Wilmington, Springboro Wright Patterson AFB, and Kettering. He was the former mayor of Dayton and a lawyer. John Boehner is the Minority Leader. The Republican leader is from the 8th District and representative from West Chester. His area includes Dayton, Huber Heights, Riverside, Hamilton, Middletown, Eaton, Greenville, Troy, Wright Patterson AFB, and Tipp City. He was a former businessman. Sherrod Brown is the Democratic United States Class II Senator. He was a former United States congressman from the 13th District. He was a former professor. George Voinovich is the Republican United States Class I Senator. He was the 65th governor of Ohio and former mayor of the city of Cleveland. He was an auditor, businessman and lawyer. Ted Strickland is the current governor of Ohio. He is a Democrat. Strickland was the former United States congressman from the 6th District. He was a psychologist, college professor and pastor.
